Before "Made in Taiwan" there was "Made in Changhua!"
在台灣製造之前，是彰化製造。
「製造」不只是加⼯與⽣產，它是⼀種將理念、價值、⽂化、美學與⽣活⽅式，轉譯為物件的能⼒。我們提煉出八個製造精神，閱讀彰化的產業哲學 —— ⼀通電話調貨、⼀句話便能出貨，是「看不⾒的默契」與群體戰；代代接⼒、世代協作，形塑出彰化獨有的⼈情味製造浪漫。
Manufacturing is more than mere processing or production. It translates ideas, values, cultures, aesthetics, and lifestyles into tangible everyday objects. The manufacturing spirit of Changhua can be distilled down to eight values that offer a blueprint from which to understand the production philosophy underpinning Changhua’s manufacturing sector. At its foundation, this philosophy is driven by tacit agreements and the “power of the collective” where a word, a call, or a handshake is often all that is needed to seal a deal or get products delivered. Manufacturing in Changhua is commonly a multi-generational affair as businesses get passed down within families, creating a unique manufacturing model that is very much family focused.
